Aluminum has many advantages over zinc:
1.Aluminum is superior in either strength or corrosion resistance;
2.Aluminum weighs only 45 or so of zinc of the same volume;
3.Aluminum price is stabler. It is cheaper than zinc in 2006 for the first time and costs only about 65 of zinc currently. With zinc price estimated to go on rising based on various statistics and analysis, aluminum will display its price predominance better and better.
What has kept aluminum parts from replacing zinc ones all along lies in the difficulty of their electroplating. By overcoming this problem, we make it possible to substitute aluminum for zinc and will bring further profit to customers by lowering product costs greatly.
